Ekin Barlas Williamson

Ekin Williamson is an architectural designer with over 20 years of professional experience. Born in the United States and raised in Istanbul, she works on residential and commercial projects with an approach grounded in planning, proportion, and material clarity.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Yıldız Technical University and her Master’s degree in Architectural Design from Pratt Institute in New York.

Throughout her career, Ekin has designed and managed high-end residential and commercial projects in Istanbul, Dubai, London, New York, and Los Angeles. In 2016, she co-founded Barlas + Parlak with Burcin Parlak Bal. In 2018, she relocated to the United States and now leads the Los Angeles branch of the studio.

In addition to her design practice, Ekin holds a California real estate license and integrates both professions under www.ekinwilliamson.com. She is fluent in Turkish, English, and German.
